Anne Barr and her team is as good as it gets. From the beginning she was there to help guide me through the process and answer any and all questions. I started out looking at one particular industry and along the way it changed numerous times. The one constant was Anne Barr's professionalism and knowledge of her business and industry. As soon as I decided against looking further into a business, she was already looking for another opportunity for me to pursue. Whether it is buying another business or selling a business I would not think twice about using and referring others to Anne Barr.
The decision to sell our business was bittersweet and frankly a little scary, but Anne put all our fears to rest. Her years of experience with selling franchises and business acumen, were evident from the beginning. We had no idea what to expect during this process, but Anne was very patient and always available for questions...and yes we had lots of questions! When asked her opinion, she was very honest and she never tried to influence our decisions one way or the other.

Without Anne and David Barr, I would not have bought my first business. They understand that every buyer has different needs in order to complete each deal. They go above and beyond in meeting the buyer's needs in getting the contract signed and closed. An example of this is when they spent a Friday evening driving around town gathering signatures, making sure the contract got signed. It was a very difficult transaction due to the extensive negotiations required. To this day, I am still amazed at how they got the deal completed. If the seller had chosen another broker, the seller would still be trying to sell the business. I am now working on buying a second and third business through Anne and David. They have been instrumental in assisting me in this process as well--They know what it takes for a buyer to secure financing, and assist in getting the required paperwork to the lender. If I ever decide to sell my business, I know where I am going for my broker.
Upon making the decision to sell my business franchise, I had the pleasure of discovering and working with Anne Barr. From the very beginning, I was impressed with Anne's professionalism and experience, and also at the fact that her commissions were in my experience very reasonable and lower than other brokers. What really set Anne apart was her perseverance and flexibility. In the months that Anne and I worked together, she was flexible multiple times on several key issues. She not only listened to my needs, but then took action upon them which served both of our best interests, and ultimately the best interest of the buyer that we found. Anne was critical in helping in the search to find a potential buyer, and then once that potential buyer was found, Anne's professionalism helped making the ownership transfer flow smoothly between seller, buyer, and the franchise group. I would highly recommend Anne to anyone interested in selling or buying a business opportunity. She was a highly critical partner in the business transition process & I could not have done it without her help.
